White Undercoat

Seamaster Synlac White Undecoat is a premium oil modified alkyd based highly pigmented undercoat; ideal for use on wood and metal surfaces with good filling properties. It provides excellent adhesion, fast dry and imparts good film build.

Uses :
As an undercoat for architectural paints to provide a smooth finish. Suitable for use over appropriately prepared or previously painted steel and wood substrates to provide a good adhesion for topcoat.

Recommended  
Dry Film Thickness : 25 - 30 microns per coat
Drying Time : Touch dry : ≤ 1 hour
Hard dry : ≤ 4 hours

Application Method
Method of Application :
Brush, roller or spray application.		  
Product Preparation :

Stir thoroughly before use. product is supply ready for use. however, if thinning is required, not more than 10% of mineral turpentine may be added.

Surface Preparation
Wood Surface :

The woodwork must be dry and free from dirt and other contaminants. Smoothen the surface by sanding and dust off before applying the paint system.

Metal Surface :
Surface must be dry and free from dirt, dust, millscales and other contaminants. Rust and millscales can be removed by manual sanding or wire-brushing.

Previously Painted Surface :
Surface to be painted must be thoroughly clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, loose material or flaking paint. All loose work must be scrapped off and defective areas should be sanded down before painting.
