Uniclad is a
highly compressed weather resistant fiber-cement boards coated
with a decorative finish that can be used for both external and
internal walls/ceiling. The fibre-cement boards are produced from
a mixture of cement, silica, special cellulose fibres and selected
fillers to impart durability, toughness and moisture resistance.
The boards are cured by an autoclaving process whereby the ingredients
are reacted together under the effects of super-heated steam and
high pressure. The synthetic cement silicate binder provides exceptional
dimensional stability and an unrivalled resistance to movement
due to the effects of moisture or heat.
It is smooth finished and is available in a wide range of colours
and finishing. Sizes can be varied and custom-made, thereby making
it extremely flexible in meeting difficult project requirements.

PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE
• Weather Tolerant
The board has weather tolerance and does not deteriorate in wet
and humid conditions, even when used in external applications
where it is continuously exposed to weather.
• Dimensional Stability
The board does not swell, shrink or warp significantly when changes
in temperature or humidity occur.
• Ease of Use
The board is capable of being cut, drilled or sand using conventional
tools. It is also capable of accepting decorating material without
the need for further surface
preparation or painting.
• Brittleness
The board is not so brittle as to require pre-drilling for screws,
particularly if screwing is required near to the edge of the board.
• Compatibility
The board is compatible with all common building materials, is
noncaustic and does not promote corrosion and will not affect
bituminous compounds.

Uniclad is an aesthetic and cost effective choice for use on
institutional, commercial and residential structures.
EXTERIOR
Uniclad when used as an external cladding is based on a cavity
wall concept, preventing water penetration to the inner side of
wall and reduces solar radiation heat gain. Hence, condensation
on the inner surface is significantly reduced.
Low thermal expansion and UV resistance makes the Uniclad suitable
for external usage. Even in highly polluted environments, the
coating would not be damaged by mild acid rains. Uniclad with
metallic finishes are commonly used as an alternative to aluminium
cladding. Standard metallic colours are available and customized
colours can also be specially customized.
INTERIOR
Uniclad is suited for use on internal wall, ceiling, office partition,
kitchen cabinet and toilet partition. Difference types of board
material available for interior use to meet individual requirement.
It's applications can be seen in clean rooms
and hospitals as it's surface can be easily cleaned to maintain
a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. The acoustical properties
of the Uniclad reduces noice and gives better sound insulation.
In addition, being non-static and non-magnetic, it will not interfere
with expensive equipments making it an excellent choice for internal
applications.
Uniclad can be used as a decorative feature
as ceiling baffles or to replace the traditioanl fibrous ceiling
boards where cleaning and sagging is a common problem. Uniclad
is available in standard modular sizes to be used on a exposed
ceiling grid system.

TUNNEL LINING
Uniclad is used as a secondary wall lining for tunnels. This prevents
visible efflorescence and water leakage marks. The smooth surface
of the Uniclad means that there is less dirt pick up and ease
of maintenance using jet washing. Most importantly, the carbon
dioxide diffusion resistance of the coating makes it most ideal
for vehicular tunnel applications.
TIMBER SIDINGS
Uniclad timber siding is based on a plank concept, whereby each
piece can installed in an overlapping manner to produce a country
or resort style outlook. Each plank has an embossed timber finish
and is available in a wide range of colours such as aged, worn,
antique, weathered and typical wood stain colours. This type of
siding is most suited for resorts, spas, chalets and outdoor gardens.
MDclad is pre-finished compressed
board and it is only suitable for internal use. The thickness
of MDclad Board is 9mm. The sizes and weights are as follows :-
- 400mm x 300mm (0.82kg)
- 400mm x 200mm (0.56kg)
- 300mm x 200mm (0.42kg)
- 300mm x 150mm (0.30kg)
The MDclad board is suitable for ceiling, wall,
kitchen cabinet, partition etc. It is not suitable to be used
in wet area such as toilet partition, bathroom etc.
MDClad Board With Art Profile
There are Ten (10) different types of art profiles available for
the choice of customers. The profiles coated with Seamaster paint
will create various types of eye catching effect and atmosphere
to suit your individual designing needs.
Decorative Finishing
Uniclad and MDclad comes in a wide range of colours and the finishing
in semi-gloss, high-gloss finish, matt, metallic, timber tone
and 3D special effect. Marble and Granite finishing is also available
for feature walls to produce a book match effect. The Uniclad
and MDclad colours collection can be referred to Seamaster Fandeck
Colour Series 4.
Product Warranty
Seamaster Paint warrants that the calcium silicate boards and
fibre cement board installed in the specific project shall be
free from defects due to faulty manufacture or factory workmanship
for a period of 10 (ten) years from the date of installation of
the material. The paint finishes shall be guaranteed to be good
and merchantable quality and against specialist product defect
failure of the surface coating discoloration and peeling. The
terms & conditions shall be referred to Product Warranty Letter.
